Mia Svärd is a Swedish watercolor artist whose practice has grown with intensity and devotion since 2019. With a background as an art-focused elementary school teacher, she brings both sensitivity and craftsmanship to her work, allowing each painting to unfold with clarity and intention.
Her watercolors are deeply rooted in the places she encounters. Whether wandering through Nordic landscapes or traveling across Europe, Mia captures the quiet poetry of nature and the atmospheres that linger long after a moment has passed.
Her work has been shown across Sweden, with exhibitions in Köping, Stockholm, and on the island of Öland. She has also been selected for two notable juried exhibitions: Stockholms Konstsalong (2023) and the Winter Salon in Katrineholm (2025).
