About me
Marian is a true South African. Born and raised in the small town of Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal. Married and raised her 3 children in the same town.
She currently lives in Mtunzini, a small village on the East Coast, north of Durban.
While working as a fulltime bookkeeper, her art and gardening was her hobby. She was priviledged during her bookkeeping years to be mentored by well-known South African artist, Diamond Bozas.
Her love of nature can be seen in her artworks and is evident in her acre of garden which she established after moving to Mtunzini in 2017.
Marian has exhibited, sold and won awards nationally and internationally.
She has been priviledged to be mentored and tutored by well-known national and international artists since 2019. She never stops learning and never stops surprising the viewer, and herself, with her finely crafted paintings. Being creative and painting in all mediums is her passion but her first love is the challenge of watercolour.
