My name is Yana Wilhelm, and I am a watercolor artist from Braunschweig, Germany. Originally, I was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia, so I consider myself an international artist. In addition to my artistic practice, I am an educator and lead art clubs at a school.
I discovered watercolor six years ago, and since then, it has become an integral part of my life. My artistic focus includes maritime themes, landscapes, and animals. I enjoy experimenting with different colors and techniques to express my ideas.
My works can be found in several private collections, and I have also participated in a few exhibitions in Germany. I have been a member of the German Watercolor Society for the past two years.
