About me
Hello I am a retiree from Puerto Rico. I started painting in watercolor by accident. I had never painted in any medium except in my school days, then 4 years ago one day a friend of my sent me a photo of a beautiful place she was visiting. I felt a spark of emotions and had an urge to see if I could paint a scene. I only found in my daughter's room a palette of watercolor. So, I used it and it was a serendipity moment!
Then I wanted to learn to paint later on, so I found Artefacto School online and ever since have fallen in love with the platform and interacting as a student with the most talented master artists of the world.
Due to life events, I had to put down my brushes and have not been able to paint as often as I would have wanted to. I have never participated in exhibitions and festivals since I wasn't sure if I was ready to do so and capable of my work, but this year I am doing so, I am breaking my fears and looking forward to find my style, working loose and immersing myself once again to such a beautiful medium and passion.
