In my work, I use drawing and watercolor techniques, painting primarily outdoors. Watercolor and drawing have been my passion since childhood. The watercolor technique fascinated me with its level of difficulty – the lack of opportunities for corrections, the requirement for quick decisions, freedom, and spontaneity. In my creative process, I value painting outdoors, where the surroundings and nature often influence the final appearance of the watercolor. Most of my works are painted in urban or natural settings. This allows me to more fully experience the atmosphere of the place and transfer these impressions to paper. At the same time, it requires freedom and spontaneity in the approach to the final look of the work, as weather conditions often leave their mark, which I consider not a mistake or detriment, but an added advantage. The subjects of my works are the diverse landscapes surrounding me, changing with my travels. These are most often landscapes of forests, meadows, and waterfront areas, but also urban, port, and industrial landscapes.
