Dharsha Samarasinha

I am Dharsha Samarasinha, an artist based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I  have been interested and involved in art from a young age and am very passionate about it, especially watercolour.

 My Inspiration comes mainly from nature, local culture, and related human activities. I try to capture and emphasise the atmospheric conditions in my landscape paintings.  The wet-on-wet technique, combined with limited colours and subtle hues, is primarily used by me to achieve the desired outcomes. Over the years, I have been fortunate to be part of local group art exhibitions and art fairs, thereby enabling me to showcase my work.
