Franz Georg Gruber

As an autodidact, Franz Georg Gruber from Tyrol, Austria, deals specifically with the watercolor technique, the supreme discipline of the art of painting. Visits to the summer academy "art didacta" in Innsbruck and the art school and summer academy "Hohenaschau" in Chiemgau, Germany shaped the artistic career as a member of "IWS-Austria", "Copart" and "Group 84". The attention to detail (focus on landscape, architecture, flowers, animals, still life) creates realistic pictures with occasional abstraction. Wherever possible, inspirations are implemented in painting trips and workshops in the great outdoors. The play of the light and color, which changes every day and hour, as well as the perspective, enrich many a painting process. Additional sketches are reserved for the quiet hours in the studio. Participation in international symposia and exhibitions enrich the art horizon and encourage new deeds. My motto: "By painting, I show feelings that I could never put into words"

Als Autodidakt beschäftigt sich der Tiroler Franz Georg Gruber gezielt mit der Aquarelltechnik, der Königsdisziplin der Malerei. Besuche der Sommerakademie „art didacta“ in Innsbruck und der Kunstschule und Sommerakademie „Hohenaschau“ im Chiemgau prägten die künstlerische Laufbahn als Mitglied von „IWS-Austria“, „Copart“ und „Gruppe 84“. Die Liebe zum Detail (Schwerpunkt Landschaft, Architektur, Blumen, Tiere, Stillleben) schafft realistische Bilder mit gelegentlicher Abstraktion. Inspirationen werden, wo immer möglich, in Malreisen und Workshops in der freien Natur umgesetzt. Das täglich und stündlich wechselnde Licht- und Farbspiel sowie die Perspektive bereichern so manchen Malprozess. Zusätzliche Skizzen sind für die ruhigen Stunden im Studio reserviert. Die Teilnahme an internationalen Symposien und Ausstellungen bereichert den Kunsthorizont und inspiriert zu neuen Taten.
