Andrew McWalter

In 1980 I earned a 3-year Diploma in Graphic Design & Photography from Technikon Natal, Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. I worked for 2,5 years in the Graphiic Design space and then went into a completely different business for the next 37 years. 8 years ago, at age 61, I decided to pursue my artistic beginnings and began painting in Watercolor as it fitted well with work pressures at the time. My choice of subject matter varies greatly, from fishing boats and seascapes, to animals and the built environment. My aim is to capture the mystery lying behind the image.
