About me

My work ranges from the context of the traditional painting techniques to innovative mixed media explorations.  Often focusing on the trappings of power and the rituals needed for its effect, or evoking the traditional distancing of the supplicant by those in power, giving voice to those who are often unheard, or revealing the power of language through history. The work takes on various forms intended to draw in the viewer as co-author and witness, create new and unpredictable cycles of thoughts and associations, providing an experimental chance to challenge one’s perceptions, perspectives and assumptions

The use of materials in my work is calculated.  I am often looking for avenues of the unexpected.  An ironic twist to images or things you might expect.  Or their combinations.  Provoking a participant to new and perhaps unexplored territories. .  Hence at the end of the day my moto is  Continue to mix colours by every means and ways until I reach the perfect colour combination that would express my inner self on a canvas. AS AN ARTIST: My passion for art has helped me in the most difficult phase of my life and maybe this had made my art style evolved from traditional painting style to modern form of pointillism painting. Whenever I paint with the dots I am automatically transported into another dimension where I can see every objects into small particles and I have to pick them up to joined them in terms of dots of colours

My artwork takes a critical view of social, feminism sufferings, woman power and cultural issues.  Often referencing to woman power of enduring, my work explores the varying relationships between woman culture and fine art. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. &a
