About me
My name is Nadia Negru, and I was born on October 10, 1979, in the picturesque village of Săseni, Călărași District, Republic of Moldova. I am a passionate artist whose journey began at a young age, driven by an enduring love for creativity and self-expression.
My formal education laid the foundation for my artistic pursuits. I graduated from the Republican High School of Fine Arts "Igor Vieru," where I honed my skills under the guidance of Professor Nicolae Baciu. Later, I pursued Fashion Design at the Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts in Chișinău. To broaden my horizons further, I specialized in Interior Architecture at the "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest.
Art has always been my voice, a medium through which I connect with the world. My artistic debut dates back to 1992, with two paintings presented in ChiÈ™inău. Over the years, I’ve exhibited my works in prestigious galleries, museums, and cultural venues in Moldova and Romania. My art, particularly in watercolor, explores the delicate interplay of light, shadow, and emotion.
Through solo exhibitions and group showcases, I’ve had the privilege to share my vision with a diverse audience. Each piece I create reflects my commitment to detail and my passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us. Awards like the First Prize at the Citadel of Arts competition and recognition at the Martha Bibescu competition affirm my dedication to excellence.
Beyond exhibitions, I take pride in engaging with fellow artists and art lovers through creative workshops, painting camps, and live demonstrations. I believe art is not just about individual expression but also about building connections and inspiring others.
For me, every stroke of the brush is a journey—a way to explore new dimensions of beauty and meaning. Through my work, I hope to bring a sense of joy, serenity, and reflection to those wh
