About me
As an Architect, I have a strong connection to cityscapes. But my art work also reflects a love of the natural landscape, especially living in beautiful British Columbia, where I divide my time between Vancouver and Whistler. I have painted sporadically in watercolour since Architectural School at McGill University in Montreal in the late 1980’s, but more actively since 2017. An extended world tour in 2018/2019 resulted in a comprehensive library of images which the reflection of Covid times allowed to surface in a series of paintings that help consolidate those special memories.
I love the vibrance of watercolour, its transparency and flow. I enjoy learning and discovering with every painting.
I paint with fellow artist friends: their feedback and encouragement adds to the enjoyment and they really help me pursue my own style and freedom to be unrestrainedly creative.
