About me
Abdur Rahman obtained his second Master’s degree in Multimedia Arts (Gold Medal) from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, Pakistan, and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Gold Medal) from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan.
His professional background includes academic positions at leading educational institutions, including NCA, PAF-IAST, PIFD, COD, and IFA, where he taught Animation Design, Graphic Design, Art, Drawing, and Jewelry Design, and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate thesis students. He has over twenty-one years of experience in Art, Design, Animation, and Teaching.
His research interests span Animation (Traditional Folk Tales), Painting (Culture), and Design (Brand Identity). Within these areas, he has directed and animated sixteen short films and documentaries, and designed more than fifty brand identities, along with dozens of full-scale promotional graphic campaigns for national and international clients.
Abdur Rahman has received thirty-one national awards across graphics, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, and animation, and has exhibited his artworks in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
Currently, he serves as CEO/Director at Harfun Design Studio Pvt.Ltd. USA, where he leads creative strategy and client partnerships, transforming visionary concepts into measurable and impactful outcomes.
