Anil Verghese picked up the brush , it was a stark departure from his 30 years of professional life in Finance. He rediscovered his childhood joy of fine art and connected with creativity at a time when the world shifted pace because of the pandemic.
Drawing from his Indian heritage and experiences of living in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East and travels to over 30 countries, Anil works mainly in water colour to pictorially depict images and thoughts that have touched him.He finds his artistic inspiration in the ordinary and turns to the canvas when he wants to share a strong emotional response to a personal experience. He paints for himself, but finds joy in sharing his work with those around him.
Anil’s paintings have been exhibited internationally and he has been enagaged in career guidance for Fine Arts and in using Arts as a therapy for medical professionals.

Anil is actively engaged as jury for painting comepetion of Doctors , motivating children for building career in Fine Arts through a lecture series at a top school and college, motivating medical professionals to enagage in Fine Arts.
