Joan Felipe Lindner, Barcelona 1966
Starting in Escola Massana de Barcelona where I obtained my degree in Industrial Design, I recieved technical and artistic formation in multiple disciplines, including watercolour. Through these methods i was taught to represent objects and interior designs as well as urban arquitecture.
However, it was not until the year 2010 that i immersed myself in the world of watercolour, when I joined the Agrupació D’aquarelistes de Catalunya (AAC) and began attending art workshops taught by the renowned painter Vicenç Ballestar, among others.
By the end of this year i was awarded a mention of honor as a newbie painter by the AAC.
From the year 2013 I am also part of the Agrupació d’Amics de l’Aquarel·la de Girona i Comarques.
Currently, i am teaching watercolour lessoms in the cultural centre Lluïsos de Gràcia in Barcelona.
I am mostly inspired by nature themes; Mountains and snowy landscapes, where i enjoy playing with the paper white, transparency and atmosphere techniques, and Coastal landscapes, with which i express the colours of the Catalan mediterranean landscapes with boats, villages and breathtaking spots.
I have recently been awarded the silver medal in 2020 by the AAC and the Golden brush in 2021 By the Agrupació d’Amics de l’Aquarel.la de Girona i Comarques.
