About me
I was born and currently live in Barcelona.
Although I had always lived together with art, since there was more than one artist among my relatives, and for years I accompanied my husband, a watercolorist, on his trips to paint outdoors, I did not take my first brush until I was 40 years old.
When I discovered the watercolor technique I was captivated by it and to this day I have not stopped painting and investigating with this exciting technique.
My watercolor is colorful, fresh and spontaneous. I like to play with pigment and water, and experience effects.
I am inspired by nature, making my own interpretation of landscapes, seascapes, flowers ...
I am a member of the Agrupació d’Aquarel.listes de Catalunya, Agrupació Amics de l’Aquarel.la de Girona i Comarques and the Reial Cercle artístic de Barcelona.
I have exhibited my work, individually and collectively, in various countries:
In Spain: Barcelona, ​​Girona, Madrid, Zaragoza, Malaga, Bilbao, Segovia, Caudete and Palma de Mallorca.
In France: Paris, Béziers, Carcassonne, Aimarges, Gimont, Avignon and Nimes.
In Italy: Florence, Cremona and Bellagio.
And also in Santa Marta (Colombia), Bolivia, Miami (USA), Antwerp (Belgium), Turku and Haapsalu (Finland), New Delhi (India), Beijing (China), Krakow and Estonia.
I have been awarded, among other prizes, mentions and second prizes, with the gold and silver medals of the AAC, the 1st prize (Gold Brush), the Girona City Council award, the Girona Provincial Council award and the Generalitat Cup Award. AAAGC gold brush, 1st and 2nd prize in the annual exhibition of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona, ​​second prize in the AGBAR- city of Barcelona 2019 award, gold, silver and bronze medals at the Béziers International Salon des Beaux Arts and 1st Prize VII Juan Fontanal de Málaga Contest.
