About me
Debolina Majumdar is a Bangalore, India based watercolor artist .
A software engineer by profession and an artist by Passion. She had been painting from the age of 5 and had always been passionate about it through the growing up years to winning various accolades which also includes the International and the National awards.
Born in the eastern city of India -Calcutta and then travelling over various cities in India ( as her father comes from a Defense background ) helped her gather the richness of art from every part and helped her to grow more as an artist.
Art took a backseat with an engineering course and a decade of corporate life that only 4 years back she decided to come back to Mainstream art again cause Art was something which gave her solace like nothing else.
Though she works on every medium yet watercolors is the closest to her heart.
She loves what watercolor can challenge one yet finally blend to give the perfect texture, hence no medium gives the satisfaction like the watercolor does.
Loves to get inspiration from the everyday mundane life and most of her painting reflects that.
Have participated in various exhibitions.
Debolina is a proud Member of FabrianoInAcquarello . Her paintings has also been selected for International Watercolor Society exhibitions including the IWS India Biennale 2022 and RINart Tirana International Contemporary Festival .
