Rajat, a watercolour artist with over 40 years of experience, has captivated art lovers globally with his stunning depiction of landscapes, still life, and offbeat subjects like rust, stones, sackcloth and wood.
A graduate of Government Arts College, Kolkata, India (1989), Rajat’s artistic journey has taken him across countries including Bulgaria, China, Thailand, Australia, France, Italy, Spain and Greece, among others.
As the global brand ambassador for Daniel Smith and country leader for Fabriano Acquarello in India, he has earned a small share in the international art community. Rajat’s works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad, with a career-defining moment in 2019 when the Brisbane Watercolour Society held an auction of his artworks.
