Elizaveta Smirnova

I am a watercolour artist and urban sketcher. I love painting and exploring old architecture and ancient relics, so I travel to different countries to find inspiration and collect references for my future works. At the times like now - when travelling is not always possible - I also find my inspiration in the museums and galleries. That is exactly how the artwork presented for the selection has appeared. 

I only started painting with watercolour in 2017. At the moment my originals are in private collections in the USA, Spain, Portugal, England and Russia. My works also participated in the online exhibition at King's College London in 2020 and in the international exhibition 'Sketch Culture' in Bryansk, Russia in 2021.
