About me
Alice Bottrill is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour ( CSPWC), a member of IWS Canada, the American Society of Railway Artists, and an exhibiting artist of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA).
Alice's artwork is both diverse and evocative, characterized by expressive brushstrokes infused with translucent hues and atmospheric moods, employing a range of techniques to capture the beauty of fleeting moments in the world around her.
Alice teaches in her home studio and also offers classes and presentations at different art societies in the Fraser Valley area. She focuses on motivating artists to paint effectively and developing confidence. Her classes are described as "Inspirational and Enjoyable."
Alice's paintings have received both local and international acclaim through many juried exhibitions. In recent years, she has been invited to represent Canada in live demonstrations at International exhibitions in Hungary, Poland, and France. These experiences have allowed her to connect with artists in other countries, enriching her artistic practice through cultural exchange and shared creative dialogue.
