E. Jane Stoddard

Originally an oil painter, Jane “found” herself in watercolors.  She enjoys the “hunt” of finding new subjects to paint almost as much as she likes painting them.  She loves to paint and considers a work successful if the viewer experiences the same excitement she felt when she found the subject when they see the painting for the first time.

Jane is a member of fifteen plus watercolor societies and is privileged to be a signature member of both the National Watercolor Society and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, where she has Master designation.  She is a fellow in the American Artists Professional League and a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists. She has received many awards and honors for her work nationally.
