Born in Lisbon in 1952.

Paulo Ossiao explores watercolor up to his limits!

Known mostly for his urban big watercolors,   he paints blue and his thousand tones.  Also, the human figure appears at his watercolors of city scenes.  “A dreamy aura” based on real life.

The transparences that watercolor allow,  are exploited by Paulo Ossião by the many plans that intercepted  each other making us spectators, feel and participate in his very proper way of painting.

The human figure is also one of his favorite subjects, and also in sculptures, which   as he usually says:  “they are watercolors in 3D”.
