About me
Melaniya Poltorak was born in 1989 in Kaliningrad, USSR. Her passion for art bloomed in early childhood and has steadily grown over the years. She entered Art school by the age of 10 and since then never stopped learning and growing in Art skills.
Melaniya graduated from art college specialising in decorative and applied art while taking academic courses as well.
In 2010 Melaniya visited Israel for the first time. The feeling of belonging and desire to return to her roots lead to her decision to drastically alter her life and move to Israel right after her university.
Her artwork has been on display throughout numerous exhibitions in Israel. She has also participated in exhibitions that were held in Italy and Montenegro.
Artists main medium is watercolor, but the experiments with incorporation of other materials in her artworks. Her major theme are the beauty of nature and women self awareness.
