About me
My name is Sebastian Alexa and I am a self-taught artist. I was born in Timisoara on the 18th of November 1971. I started drawing at the age of 3 when I had an urge to draw everything I could see around me. I remember I couldn't stop until my drawing reflected the image that lay before my eyes...or until I ran out of paper. There were many failures, but there were also some good ones, that brought me satisfaction along the way. I suddenly stopped drawing after the age of 20 and I put myself on hold for 25 years, for some reason. Then, 2015 brought about the change...I was discovering the watercolour and was passionately falling in love with it. It was transparent, ethereal, versatile, unpredictable and moody, but also sublime and playful...how can you not love it?
