I work primarily with watercolor and drawing.
While I have previously explored landscape, my recent work has shifted toward a more internal and psychological space. At this stage, content has become more important to me than creating a purely beautiful image.
Watercolor functions in my practice as a time-based and sensitive material, where control and surrender exist simultaneously. Layers, washes, and the white of the paper are not background elements but active parts of the image.
The human presence in my work is often fragmentary — emerging and dissolving — allowing the image to remain open rather than fully defined. I am interested in moments of awareness, tension, and quiet intensity, where the image does not explain itself but stays awake.
