Olga Sova

I am a visual artist blending reality with surreal imagination to create symbolic illustrations that speak to the soul. Born in northern Russia into a creative family, I discovered my passion for art early and studied painting, drawing, sculpture, composition, and art history at the School of Arts. After moving to Dubai, I immersed myself in the local art scene, attending masterclasses and developing a distinctive mixed media style.

My creative world is shaped by nature, people, and everyday moments. Working with watercolor, pencil, and layered textures, I create dreamlike compositions that reflect both outer reality and inner emotion. Each piece begins with an idea or sketch and evolves through careful composition, color, and layering, often across several versions until it feels complete.

Influenced by artists such as Salvador Dalí, my work balances the fantastical and the familiar. I am currently developing a new collection inspired by natural elements and their emotional echoes. My art has been showcased at major cultural events, including World Art Dubai, with the aim of inspiring reflection and creating a sense of connection for the viewer.
