About me
Jorge Swinnen was born in Mercedes Bs. As. Argentina, in 1964.
He graduated as an architect from the National University of Buenos Aires in 1990 and continues to practice his professional activity from his hometown. It is also the titular Jury of competitions of the CAPBA, District 5.
Passionate abot art since he can remember, he complemented his artistic training since adolescence, in painting, watercolor and human figure workshops, going through his work since then through all the techniques that were within his reach, until dedicating himself, from a while ago, exclusively to watercolor.
In the last year, 2022, he was selected as a finalist by IWS Chile in the International Rapid Watercolor Contest and later also by IWS Argentina, to exhibit his work representing his country, at the Museum of Watercolor of the State of Mexico.
Currently he also leads his face-to-face watercolor and drawing workshop.
