Born in Latium, but with Cremona and Romagna origins, he now resides in the Pontine flatland, has lived and worked in Rome and Genoa.
Beginning tracing signs, then drawing and finally using watercolor, have always been a means of research aimed at representing or interpreting places, with the intention of "Knowing places, to understand people and their stories … get to know the people and their stories, to understand the places”. And in this sentence there is all, or almost all, the sense of the work carried out almost entirely with drawings from life, using the sketchbook as a support.
For many years he has approached the Urban Sketching movement, of which he is the promoter and one of the Italian reference exponents within the Usk.org.
Over the years he has participated in many of the exhibitions of "Matite in Viaggio" (Venice), "Autori di Viaggio" (Ferrara) and "Cuneo Vualà" (Cuneo), events dedicated to travel sketchbook, exhibiting his sketchbooks, sketched fromlive travelling in different continents. Or representing particularly interesting themes, of some territories (with great attention to the themes of dryed swamp lands). He has also participated in group and personal exhibitions, exhibiting works mainly in watercolor, a technique that he has preferred for years now.
