About me
Iam painting since iam able to make my first steps.
At the age of 14 I met the old island painter on my favourite island Baltrum (northsea of germany). I saw his lightfull pictures and decided in my heart to be the next island painter.
So I started to study clouds, waves, houses and typical plants of the northsea. I prefer strong colours.
In 2019 I participated in a workshop in Essen with Carsten Wieland. He leads me into a new freedom and creativity of painting.
Recently I have also been painting a lot of Lower Rhine motifs and portraits.
In 2023 I took part in the FabrianoInAcquarello exhibition for the first time. I have been a member of the German Watercolor Society (DAG) since December 2024.
