Rajesh Pillai is an India, Mumbai based self-taught artist.
A businessman by profession, art is his passion which he has been pursuing alongside his profession. Rajesh has a keen eye on specifications like shapes and sizes of objects and paints in a representational realistic style drawing inspiration from Old Masters. Rajesh loves painting in oils, watercolor, charcoals, pastels - primarily around objects- rustic still life’s and architectural structures , landscapes portrait and figurative.
Standing in front of the canvas with a brush in hand and seeing a colorful palette is a healing, meditative and spiritual journey for Rajesh. The journey of art is to leave a meaningful mark that depicts a beautiful story through his eyes of the past and the present.
