Art to me is a way to express myself.

Hi, I am Monika Gupta, an Aspiring artist who is open to learn and connect with various like minded people who have the same passion for art as I do.

I have been an art ethusiast since my childhood but never got an opportunity to pursue it. I have studied in the field of finance just like everyone else but my interest for art never dissapeared and hence after getting married and having Childern and fulling my duties as a wife and a mother I decided to puruse my passion. At the age of 40 I decided to join college again and get a degree in Bachelor's of Visual Arts. Having completed this I am now a freelance artist exploring every opportunity comming my way. 

Sculptures are the physical evidence of the past that gives us an insight as to what the history inculcated. I have always been intrigued by how a normal piece of hard rock can be made into beautiful sculpture, if you have the vision for it and this is what inspires me to capture this marvel and present it through my vision. This is why i started painting sculptures through various mediums but it was watercolors that gave me the result that I wanted.

I found watercolors extremely exciting to work with. Irrespective of being complicated to use, its transparency and natural free flow that always gives you enough space to experiment with it in many ways has always motivated and attracted me.
