Inês Monteiro, from Lisbon, Portugal.
I come from a large family where art was part of our learning, I soon developed interest and sensitivity for it.
BA in forein languages, in St. Galen, Switzerland English, French, Spanish, German, Italien and Portuguese.
My art life has been my faithful friend since early age. Our father took us to visit world museums, private collections, taugh us much about art and how to observe and admire it.
Since then, my eager interest in learning always more and more, has been an important goal.
I started by learning oils with a famous Portuguese portraitist, Luis Guimarães, for 8 years which I loved and made me develop my skills in this media. Next sted experienced acrylics. Here, I enjoyed and felt it quite easy but my ultimate passion was yet to come... "watercolour"
