Provo a dipingere da sempre e l’acquarello è la forma di pittura che più mi affascina per la sua trasparenza, imprevedibilità e l’impossibilità di un totale controllo su quello che succede.
Considero la pittura un’occasione per interpretare la realtà in modo personale, con colori, segni e prospettive non sempre corrispondenti al vero, cercando di stimolare riflessioni, emozioni e gioia.
I have been trying to call myself a painter for as long as I can remember; throughout this journey watercolour has been the painting technique that fascinates me the most, definetly because of its transparent and unpredictable nature, but also the fact that the final result can be controlled only to a certain degree, leaving space for uncontrollable outcomes.
I belive that painting is an extraordinary opportunity to view and bend reality as you please, while at the same time representing it with its true perspective and colurs, creating a fascinating process that stimulates emotions, self reflection and ultimately leads to joy.
