Antonella Tommasi

I live in Siena, Tuscany. I’ve always loved pencil drawing but I have only recently discovered a passion for the watercolor technique. Being a retired biologist I can finally devote myself to painting with great interest and continuity.
Despite the short experience in the art world, I have already participated in traveling painting exhibitions.
Early this year I took part in an on-line painting contest that earned me an award for ‘a winter story’.
In May 2022 I was in Bologna, for the first time at Fabriano-in-acquarello, just as a spectator. I was taken so much by the charming and magical atmosphere of the event that I decided to face this new challenge by entering two of my own paintings for the Fabriano 2023 selection.
