Mary Liu

Born Taiwan, grew up in Brisbane. 
Have dabbled in art since I was a child, but since I grew up in an Asian household, art was not considered a 'real' profession by my parents. 

However, the love for art has never died in me, and the desire to become an accomplished artist continues to be my dream. 

Why do I love Watercolour above other mediums?
I love the spontaneity and energy that watercolour gives me in my painting. 

I have had the honor of coming across many amazing and talented fellow Australian artists and attending workshops from inspiring artists. 

I hope to continue to be inspired and keep painting, regardless of the hectic pace life throws my way.
