About me
Since I was a child I liked to draw and paint. I grew up watching my dad paint watercolors and I would play with the spots left by his brush, looking for fun shapes. He loved to hear live and came to paint dozens of churches and landscapes in this beautiful city of Puebla, Mexico. That is why it left a deep mark on me and now watercolor is my favorite technique and plays a very important role in my life.
I studied Graphic Design and then I focused on painting and especially watercolor. I had the opportunity to share that pleasure by giving plastic arts classes from preschool to high school and in cultural centers for children and adults.
I began to participate in contests and in 2019 I had the honor of being part of the finalists of the national painting contest of the Rodin brand here in Mexico with my painting Victima, a painting that was born of great suffering that I was experiencing due to an unfortunate event. That lived my husband who was robbed and came to the brink of death. Thank God he miraculously survived. However, this fact led me to take refuge in painting, which I really consider a therapy for me, a huge means of expression, to bring out your own feelings and to generate emotions in the observer.
I love the watercolor technique, I love experimenting, playing with water and paint, seeing its effects and trying to create new ones. Looking for different papers, brushes and paints and creating, creating new things. I believe that the human being never stops learning and now it is wonderful that with technology we can learn from great masters and observe great works.
I want to thank the organizers of events like this, which allow us to share our work, and the incredible artists who show us their art and their way of seeing life through painting.
Watercolor is a beautiful technique and it is wonderful that its greatness is spread in this event
