About me
Hi there!
I'm a watercolorist from Finland. I especially enjoy painting seascapes and winter scenes with an emphasis on the dramatic and untamed aspects of nature's beauty. My color sceme is somewhat earthy and I enjoy a good grey.
Watercolor became my main medium around ten years ago. I have had three solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions, one of wich was ECWS 2024. I was chosen "to Hang with the Master's" and have my painting shown at IWM 2026. My next solo exhibition will be in August 2026 in Ekenäs (Tammisaari) and after that in September 2026 in the Town hall of my hometown Grankulla (Kauniainen)..
You can see more of my work on my web site www.jonnart.fi and in my Instagram account.
