About me
My first name is Ingrid, but my loved ones affectuously call me Gréta, which has become the signature for my artwork.
Since my early childhood, Art in all its forms has occupied a central place in my life, next to family. I learned piano and danse, then years of living within the uniquely gorgeous landscapes of the Geneva Lake coast irresistibly drew me towards drawing and painting.
First developing - and greatly enjoying - pastel and oil on canvas, I nevertheless always felt a special attraction for the transparency and fluidity of aquarelle and its seemingly infinite capacity to represent Life, from the sweetest till the most powerful and intense moments.
My professors and loved ones encouraged me into learning this demanding technique, where I soon found a wonderful, subtle and boundless ground to express my feelings. I am grateful to them for giving me the confidence to present my work in this prestigious event.
