Isabela Castello is a Brazilian artist. For 20 years, he has worked with wood art, producing objects and
sculptures with wood. Recently, he entered the world of watercolor and was enchanted by the colors,
fluidity and delicacy of this technique.
The name of my painting is Amazon at Risk.
As a Brazilian artist and environmental activist, the purpose of this painting is to alert people from
all over the planet about the risks and threats that loom over the Amazon forest, a biome of extreme
relevance to the planet. And it has been threatened by livestock farming, mining and other activities
that are increasing deforestation and the loss of biodiversity in the region.
