Watercolor has become the painting medium through which I express myself best. Watercolor is magical to me. I achieve the best results when the watercolor colors are allowed to flow freely within the framework that I set for it.
I paint intuitively and experimentally in strong colors. I often paint on backgrounds of other materials, e.g. charcoal or sand mixed with glue, water and pigments, or I start with intuitive and experimental processes, after which I choose my subject through a dialogue with paper and colours.
My motives change. In periods it is flowers, in other periods it is birds or abstractions, but I am always looking for a "good face".
