About me
Jeni Caruana became a Maltese local artist by adoption, moving from the UK to live and work as an artist in the 1970’s. Her formal art education has contributed to the Maltese art scene as a prolific exhibiting artist. She is also an inspirational tutor of private students and painting holidays in Malta and overseas. Representing Malta in various exhibitions all over the world, her work now forms part of many public and private collections.
Jeni works mainly in water based and dry media and favours good drawing techniques, combined with experimental mixed media textures and vibrant colour. Her ability to capture moving subjects and moments in time result in expressive series of paintings of musicians, dancers, nudes, portraits and landscapes.
