"As an overseas-born Australian artist, I am deeply inspired by the breathtaking nature and landscapes of Australia.
Working with watercolor has allowed me to connect with the vibrant beauty and unique character of this land. I am in awe of the elusive and powerful nature of watercolor, as it captures the essence of the Australian environment with its fluidity and unpredictability. Each painting becomes a risky and rewarding adventure, where I navigate the delicate balance between control and spontaneity
I believe in the inspiration and the talent, but I also believe in strong technique and experience behind each spontaneous brushstroke.
My extensive travels across this magnificent country have been a constant source of inspiration and awe. The more I explore, the deeper my love for Australia grows, as I uncover its breathtaking landscapes and diverse regions. From the pristine shores of Strahan in Tasmania to the lush tropics of Townsville in Queensland, and from the golden frosty mornings of Glenn Innes to the mesmerizing sight of the Milky Way above Simpson's Desert, each destination has left an indelible mark on my artistic soul"
