About me
Excitement fills me as I partake in this esteemed international watercolor art exhibition, standing alongside talented artists worldwide. Despite a 15-year journey in marketing, advertising, and sales leadership, art has been my constant companion, especially through an expressionist approach in watercolor.
As the chairman of AkvArt gallery in 2023 and a board member of the Finnish Watercolor Art Association from 2022 to 2023, my focus remains on promoting the profound tradition of watercolor art. The Tyhjä Kulho event in 2018 and 2022, supporting UNICEF through collaborations with ceramicists and glass artists, exemplifies my holistic view of art.
Recent courses, including the "Luonto minussa" watercolor course with Elina Aho-Brennan, highlight my commitment to refining my craft and exploring an expressionist approach to watercolor. My educational journey spans Hungary, France, and various programs at Aalto University.
The synthesis of my diverse experiences manifests in a harmonious blend of business acumen and an expressive, emotive style in watercolor. From roles as marketing director at Allas Sea Pool to leading my venture, Wacky Mind Oy, I've maintained a delicate equilibrium between professional responsibilities and the freedom of artistic expression.
My artworks under the theme "Hehkuvat hetket" (Glowing Moments) not only celebrate vibrant instances but also showcase my distinct expressionist approach to watercolor. In the presence of Fabriano's prestigious legacy, I am honored to showcase my expressionist watercolor works, aligning seamlessly with their rich tradition.
