Dr. Alexandra Savelieva is an emerging watercolor artist. She believes in the mission of painting to evoke deep emotional responses to ordinary things which we often take for granted, by revealing hidden beauty and poetry in everyday situations. Alexandra loves to travel and connect with people of various cultures and backgrounds.
Alexandra’s student work was featured for the first time in an international watercolor exhibition by SWS Russia (Novosibirsk) in 2023. In 2024 she participated in 10+ juried exhibitions and competitions around the world, including Singapore (Light to the World), Armenia (Colors of Armenia), China (Silkroad), India (Olympiart), France (Golden Brush), and others. In 2025 Alexandra's paintings have been accepted for numerous upcoming watercolor festivals, including Festival Internazionale UrbinoInAcquerello, OMAŽ, “My Rainbow World”, Fineness Art Festival, and Salon d'Aquarelle Ceret. Her works found home in private collections in Russia, United States, Australia, Luxembourg, and Mexico, as well as in Shaanxi Lishi Bowuguan museum.
