Lipika das

Lipika Das is a self-taught Indian artist, born and raised in the charming town of Kendrapara, Odisha. From a young age, she discovered her passion for arts and started exploring her creativity through painting. She has come a long way since then and is now a full-time independent contemporary artist, working in her studio in Sharjah.

For the past four years, Lipika has been residing in Sharjah, where she has developed her artistic skills and honed her craft. Her creations reflect her deep understanding of life's lessons and experiences. She draws inspiration from everyday situations and people, capturing them in the form of portraits that are as captivating as they are thought-provoking.

What sets her artwork apart is her unique approach to texture. She is a master at using texture to add depth and dimension to her pieces, giving them a magnificent appearance that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who sees them. Her work is a perfect blend of her creative senses and her years of life skill training experience.

For Lipika, art is not just about creating something beautiful; it is about finding solutions for mental peace. Raw emotions also inspire her artworks and reflects her search for inner peace and tranquillity. Her art invites the viewer to explore their own emotions and find a sense of peace within themselves.

Many of her beautiful art pieces has found new homes, which includes, Spirituality, Samanvay -Talmel, Awaken Soul, these are different series of acrylic painting that explore the human form. She has been praised for her ability to capture the essence of her subjects through her use of color and texture.
