About me

In my art, I search for those fleeting moments when the sky, the forest and the water begin to speak — when the shape of the clouds, the breaking of light and the depth of shadows meet in a quiet crescendo.

I am drawn to moments of change: when the sky or the water transforms, much like music reaching its climax — when a cloud cover opens to let sunlight through, when a bird lands, or when dusk slowly settles over the landscape. These are the pauses in time that I want to capture.

My hope is that the viewer feels the growing tension of these moments, the anticipation in the air, and the reassurance that light is always present — even behind the darkest clouds.

Watercolor, for me, is a continuous exploration of contrast: light and shadow, movement and stillness, clarity and ambiguity. Nature is my main source of inspiration, not only for its beauty, but for its ever-changing moods and subtle shifts.

I am a self-taught artist from Sweden and have been painting since childhood. Along the way, I have been fortunate to study with and learn from several inspiring artists through private lessons and international workshops, including V. Schimichev, Thomas W. Schaller and Michael Solovyev, as well as structured sketching studies through Drawabox.

My work has been shown in a number of exhibitions and art salons across Sweden, including group exhibitions in Strängnäs, Väsby and Ullsta, as well as the Konst- och Kulturrunda in Kolbäcksådalen in spring 2025.
