About me
Born in San Francisco, California, for the past four decades Francesca Pinoni has made the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus her home. A perpetual student and traveller, her curiosity and quest for beauty propelled her from continent to continent. Following her bliss, she revels in the bright and subtle colours of nature and startling man-made juxtapositions. Dancing, drumming, yoga, writing, and still travelling, Francesca is now focused on her first love, visual arts; expressing her inner light, beauty and experience with pigments on paper and canvas.
Her exploration of watercolour has led to a deeper understanding of and connection with the element of water generally, learning to celebrate spontaneity, flexibility and flow in her life and allowing it to be expressed in her abstract and semi-abstract work.
