Naoko Matsuo

I was born in Tokyo. In my twenties, I studied abroad in the UK for about a year, then moved to Florence, Italy, where I studied art for about three years. The basic knowledge and painting techniques I learned there have definitely become my foundation. I aloso took time off to travel to coutries around the world. To be honest, there were quite tough journeys, but the various wonderful experiences I had there have nurtured my spirit. All of those things are still the core of my creative activities. I'm truly happy and grateful to have been given the opportunity to present my work again here in Italy, a land filled with so many memories. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
