Born in 1989. After finishing High School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana, I gained a degree in Art History at Faculty of Arts and a Master's degree in Visual Communication Design at University of Fine Arts and Design, both at University of Ljubljana.
I used to work at various museums and galleries as a tour guide and workshop facilitator for children and adults.
I worked as an illustrator for an international company, producing stock illustrations. I was later a freelance illustrator, mainly doing children's book illustrations and educational illustrations such as historic reconstructions, depictions of nature and history and materials for museum exhibitions. During that time I was able to work on some international projects such as Interreg and colaborate with renowned companies, Pivovarna Laško, the biggest Slovenian brewery, being one of them.
I am a member of the Kras Cultural Association and Slovenian Association of Fine Arts Societies. I had a few solo exhibitions and I participate in group exhibitions - Slovenian Biennial of Illustration and Golden Pen of Belgrade, International Biennial of Illustration being amongst the most notable ones. I also regularly participate in the international watercolour festival Castra and small format watercolour festival Mini Castra organised by IWS Slovenia, where I got an award for my work in watercolour.
I work in many different media and techniques, but I prefer the graphic look of black ink and markers.
As I currently have a job outside of art field, I only accept projects that have a special meaning to me and do personal work as a challenge and an opportunity to grow as an artist.<
