About me
Born in Giulianova (Italy) on 22nd November 1956, he has lived in Fabriano since 1961. Married with three children, he showed a talent for painting from an early age and graduated in Mathematics in 1979.
A self-taught artist, he works across various media, from oil and acrylic to watercolour.
Since 2020, he has been sharing his work on Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/PigiMaini?igsh=NGZqZHNuaWt1OWxr) under the pseudonym PigiMaini. His first oil paintings on canvas date back to the mid-1970s.
in search of an original style where geometric forms and colour meet with bold intensity, his more recent acrylic works express feelings and emotions that attempt to unite a mathematical mindset with magical atmospheres.
He has exhibited in several national group shows and held a solo exhibition in Fabriano in 2023, Arte E nonCarta, curated by In Arte. Many of his works are part of private collections in Italy and abroad.
