He was born in La Paz, Bolivia, where he still resides.
His artistic training began at the School of Fine Arts in São Paulo, Brazil. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in the specialty of painting in the Plastic Arts Department, from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia.
He consolidates himself as a plastic artist by participating in biennials and individual and group exhibitions at a national and international level. Throughout his career he has received several distinctions as a jury for national and international competitions and several recognitions as a visual artist, illustrator and designer.
Currently, he works as a teacher in the areas of Plastic and Graphic Arts at the Public and Private University.
